Kim Hollamby | The anchor swallowed

Have just been asked to design the lighting for Sainsburys Singers performance of South Pacific at the Hexagon in Reading on 24-28 April and attended a run-through tonight. Notice was necessarily short because Geoff Bamford was originally lined up for the job.

Lots of scene changes to play with and some potentially tricky scenery positions in relation to the Lx bars so should keep me on my toes, both when planning the rig and when plotting in the technical.

The cast seems powerful and there’s a quite extra-ordinarily funny belly dance to feast the eyes upon.
