Jekyll and Hyde – the fun of rigging backlight

Jekyll and Hyde the musicalSorry, cannot resist. Jekyll and Hyde again.

Because the stage setting was black box (no scenery or cloths other than a white cyc upstage) with no flying except one chandelier(!) it also left a lot of freedom for once as to where to rig lights and hence we were able to get three of the Robe Robin 300Es into backlight positions. Placing them on a motor bar also meant being able to get the centre one right in the middle (the Hexagon lighting bars are split).

The options these backlights gave were brilliant and I’ll certainly be trying to do more of the same in the future!
