Sainsbury Singers' production of Beauty and the Beast

I commenced working with lighting and sound as a teenager. For quite a few years afterwards I was dabbling around the edges, but I got back into lighting more seriously again at the end of the 1990s and since then I have worked on over 70 major shows, more than 45 of them as lighting designer.

I have some lighting equipment of my own but mostly concentrate on venues that have their own rigs. I work with Reading Operatic Society, Sainsbury Singers, the Linda Butler School of Dance, Mostly G&S, Starmaker, Woodley Theatre, Shinfield Players Theatre and the Reading Central Salvation Army.

I’ve worked in the Hexagon Theatre and Concert Hall in Reading, the Wilde Theatre in Bracknell, the Kenton Theatre in Henley, the Bearwood College Theatre near Wokingham, the Leighton Park School Theatre near Reading and the Oakwood Theatre in Woodley, Reading.

My personal interest in theatre continues to grow and I am a personal member of NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association).
